ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has been making the headlines for the past few weeks after reports emerged that he was planning to leave the One Kenya alliance and join hands with Ruto.

Mudavadi has been linked with a possible Pact with Deputy President William Ruto. Ruto has been very active in popularizing his Hustler nation narrative where he has been advocating for the adoption of the bottom-up economic model in place of the trickle-down economics.

Mudavadi has been flattering with the possibility to work Ruto but nothing has materialized so far. Mudavadi has been using Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala to woo Ruto's Camp with reports suggesting that Malala is the force behind the talks between Ruto and Mudavadi.

Despite the initial camaraderie between Malala and Ruto's Camp, the vocal ANC Senator has today poured cold water on the prospects of an ANC - UDA Pact. Speaking to the Star newspaper, Malala revealed that Ruto is not invited to attend Sunday's ANC meeting.

According to Malala, Ruto is their competitor, and he is not their friend as its being peddled in the media. He noted that they were preparing to go all the way to the ballot.

Meanwhile, share with us your thoughts on the matter kindly.
