A demon is described as a supernatural being typically associated with evil. in the Bible, demons are also referred to as devils, fallen angels, impure spirits, evil spirits, and unclean spirits. demons often times will posses’ humans and animals and inflict various afflictions on them.
groups of demons have been known to posses a person simultaneously. some a demons display a spiritual awareness of who Jesus is and of their imminent punishment to hell.
HERE ARE 5 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DEMONS:
Demons can inhabit the body of humans and animal; making the bodies of their victims their homes.
(Mark 5:1-20) provides an illuminating example. Jesus permits the demons to come out of the man and to enter the pigs. Another example is the parable Jesus told of an unclean spirit going out of a person. The unclean spirit returns to the person who is compared to a house, which the returning evil spirits now indwell (Luke 11:24-25).
Demons Cause Affliction
As in many religions, demons in Christianity are often evil supernatural beings that torment people. Demons cause afflictions in the form of sickness, disorder, trouble, evil, etc. Check the biblical examples below.
(1samuel 16:14) but the spirit of the Lord, departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.
1kings 22:21-23 and there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade. and the Lord said unto him, wherewith? and he said, I will go forth and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. and he said, thou shall persuade him and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now therefore, behold, the Lord have put a lying spirit in the mouth of all this thy prophets and the have spoken evil concerning thee.
Demons Know Of Jesus
Even demons know Jesus. They confessed that he Is the son of God.
(Matthew 8:29) and, behold, they cried out, saying, what have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
Demons Are Compelled By God’s Power
many religions across the world engage in the spiritual practice of evicting demons from a person, or an area, that is believed to be possessed. Depending on the spiritual beliefs of the exorcist, this may be done by performing an elaborate ritual, or simply by commanding the demon to depart in the name of a higher power.
There is only one name that carries a high power which compels demons to obey: this name is JESUS. The name Jesus carries the power of God, and this power always compel demons to obey when the name Jesus is mentioned (Philippians 2:10).

Demons Are Condemned To Hell.
Demons have no future with God. The scriptural testimony is plain—the devil and his servants, the false prophet and beast from the sea, will be in the lake of fire eternally (Rev 20:9-10). One can surmise that the devil’s other servants, the demons, will face the same fate.
Job 4:18 Behold, he put no trust in his servant; and his angels he charged with folly.
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say, also unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
