Mohammed Ali Blasts Governor Joho For Betraying The Coastal People

While addressing the press, Nyali Member of Parliament, Mohammed Ali or famously known as Mohammed Jicho Pevu, he accused Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho and other coastal MPs for betraying the coastal residents.

Mohammed Ali was explaining why his motion on impeaching Transport Cabinet Secretary, Dr. James Macharia was disapproved by the speaker of the National Assembly, Justin Muturi.

Mohammed Ali strongly asserted that those Members of Parliament coast region refused to support his motion to Impeach Macharia to guard their personal interest. Ali claimed that, 80% of the Port of Mombasa is controlled by Two or three people. Ali showed papers to prove that Joho is the biggest beneficiary of the Port of Mombasa.

Mohammed Ali said that Mvita MP AbdulSwamad Sharrif is also has interest in the port of Mombasa as he's protecting the family business which has been given tenders by the port. He went on to name a long list of Mombasa Members of Parliament and why they could not append their signatures.
