For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner.
Romans 3:7 NKJV
This is the verse I came across which has puzzled me since I read it. I don't know whether to continue to go to church after seeing this.
The following article is written in reference to the first Christian First Council held in Jerusalem (Acts 15 and Galatians 2:2-21) around 50 AD when Paul, Barnabas, and other elders had debated in Jerusalem the issue and doctrine of the Judaizers, their doctrine, that it was necessary for the Newly Converts, believers and followers of Jesus Christ to follow the Customs of Moses in order to be Saved (Act 15:1,5), just as believers (Judaizers) in today's Church are doing and following the same doctrine disturbing the Church in their doctrine (Act15:24).
One of the requirements of these Judaizers doctrine was that these newly converts to the Christian faith, had to be circumcised, according to the customs of Moses in order to be saved (Acts15:5).
Paul address this doctrine of the Judaizers, the requirement of observing the customs of Moses as a necessity for Salvation in Galatians 5-1:4 in the following manner as a warning to those also today, 2000 years later in the following manner.
He made it very clear in his letter to the Galatians 5:1-4, that if you today want to use some requirements, as the first century Judaizers did requiring Circumcision as a requirement unto Salvation, the customs of Moses, the Law, you are ALSO required to keep and uphold the whole Law of Moses (All 613 Commandments), just as Christian believers (Judaizers) today, wolfs from among yourselves (Act 20:29-30) do that want to follow the Customs of Moses, the Law by keeping the Sabbath, Tithing and abstaining from certain foods as their requirement for Salvation.
Paul writes in his WARNING (Gal5:1-4) to them the following, by saying:
Behold I, Paul, say to you that if you receive circumcision, CHRIST will be of no BENEFIT to you.
You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
Also read the letter (Act 15:22-35) of the decision made by the council in Jerusalem that was sent to the Believers in Antioch regarding this False Doctrine and practices by the Judaizers disturbing and dividing the Church (Body of Christ) just as the Church today are divided because of these Judaizers.
