Deputy President Dr William Ruto, has finally given a hint of him chosing Mathira Member of Parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate in upcoming 2022 general elections.
Speaking during a political rally in Mathira Constituency that's Gachagua's constituency, Ruto gave a hint of making Gachagua his running mate as asking his electorates to stand with him, as he works with him going around the country seeking for presidential votes ahead of next year's polls.
The second in command humbly requested the Mathira residents to allow him to go with Gachagua around the country seeking for presidential votes, as he urged them to stand with him as the focus on the national matters.
"You people of Mathira I request you to stand with your MP Hon Rigathi Gachagua, please don't abandon him as we go with him across the country to look for national votes. I request you to allow me to go with him across the country to seek for more votes." He said as aired out by the media.
This statement was seem as direct hint that Ruto might be aiming to choose Rigathi as his presidential running mate, as it has already been speculated by many people considering the two leaders closeness since the Jubilee Party fallout.
