As residents in Osun file out in their numbers to decide who will govern the state in the next four years, a renowned Social Media influencer has sounded the alarm on ongoing sharp practices in some point units in various parts of the state.
For those who are abreast of the Nigerian political landscape, the Southwest State of Osun is currently holding a gubernatorial poll to elect that would either see the incumbent, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) continue in office or have a fresh candidate installed as the new governor.

While the voting exercise has been reported to be peaceful in some polling units so far, Mr. Segun Awosanya has come out to claim that there have been instances of severe voter intimidation in some parts of the state.
Taking to his Twitter handle some hours ago, Mr. Awosanya, who is popularly known as 'SEGALINk', called on the Professor Mahmood Yakubu-led Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to intervene and ensure that such acts do not become a norm in the Nigerian electioneering process.
Quite interestingly, Awosanya's allegation drew mixed reactions from his followers as some of them took to the comments section to air their opinions.
While some persons confirmed his claim by naming some polling units where such acts are being carried out, others complained of massive vote buying by party canvassers and agents.
