Super Eagles star, Victor Osimhen nets a brace in his team Group C UEL away four-goal thriller

Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen was in action on Thursday night for Napoli in their first game of the new UEFA Europa league campaign against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

The Nigerian star was handed a role to play in his team's starting XI following his outstanding performance for the club in their previous game and he was able to shine.

The former LOSC Lille star was exceptional in the show of the night as he scored a brilliant brace in the 2-2 draw at full time which was instrumental in rescuing a crucial away point for the Naples.

Victor Osimhen helped the Naples to come from behind in the second half with his brace of the night.

The host took the lead in the 9th minutes of the game with a goal from Ayoze Perez to make it one nil which was the only goal that separated the two sides going into the break.

In the second half of the game, the host were able to extend their lead as they got their second goal of the night in the 64th minutes with a goal from Harvey Barnes to make it two goals to nil.

In the 69th minutes, Victor Osimhen was able to put one back for the visitor to make it two goals to one before he was able to get his second in the 87th minutes to make it 2-2.

After every other attempts from both sides to add more to the tally of the night, all were not successful as it ended two all draw at full time thereby making it no victor no vanquished.

The result of the night has now taken Napoli to the second spot on the table with 1 point in 1 game played and as such be hoping to be back to winning ways in their next fixture, so as to continue their pursuit in the competition.
