No Increase In Petrol Price In May – NNPC:

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has said there will be no increase in the ex-depot price of petrol in May.

The Group Managing Director of NNPC, Mele Kolo Kyari, disclosed on Monday on the company’s social media post during a meeting he held with the National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO)/Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD).

Tanker explosions worry me: Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari says incessant tanker explosions bother him as he commiserated with the government and people of Benue over Sunday’s tanker explosion that left several people dead in Oshigbudu, Agatu local government area.

In a condolence message by his media aide, Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Monday, the president commiserated with the victims’ families.

OAGF to help NEITI track oil & gas revenue:

The Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) has pledged to support the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) in tracking oil and gas revenue that accruable to the Federal Government to ensure appropriate remittances.

The Accountant General of the Federation (AGF), Mr. Ahmed Idris, gave the pledge when he received the leadership of NEITI, led by the Executive Secretary (ES), Dr. Orji Ogbonnaya Orji, in his office, in Abuja, yesterday.
