However, the main highlight of the match is Christian Pulisic's goal celebration in the 74th minute. He was introduced into the game in the 69th minute, and he scored a beautiful goal 5 minutes later. After the Chelsea man scored, he celebrated by raising his Jersey, and "Man In The Mirror" was written underneath his jersey.

This article will be focusing on why Pulisic's reason for writing "Man In The Mirror" on his shirt is understandable. Firstly, note that there has been a great rivalry between Mexico and USA in recent years. Even though Mexico has a more decorated Trophy Cabinet, the USA has now beaten Mexico in three straight games.

Therefore, Pulisic's "Man In The Mirror" celebration is understandable because it was in response to Ochoa's Pre-Match comments. Christian Pulisic was trying to send the message that the USA national team is also strong, and the team isn't looking up to Mexico's team.
