For the past two months, the Sassa SRD grant has come in late. Often being paid out to people at the end of the no the or early the following month. Unfortunately, this has been a problem for some people, as they needed the money to take care of their families within that month. However this month they may have some good news as Sassa has decided to pay earlier than usual. Here are the pay dates and what you should know about them, and remember to share this article and help someone else find the information.
The Updated Payment :
Unlike the previous two months, The payments for October will be coming in very soon. After checking the site yesterday I have found that it is only a matter of time before my payment comes in (As mine is set for 22 October). However, while this is good news for South Africans, there is something you need to know but first let me tell you how to check your updated date.
How to check the dates :
To check your updated date, scroll to the bottom of this paragraph and click on the highlighted link. There you will find places to put in your identification number and phone number. Once you do, click submit and you will be able to see your pay date for October. To enter the site click on this link but first, there's something you need to know.
What you should know :
Unfortunately, the Sassa SRD date differs for different groups of people. So while my date may say one thing, yours may be completely different. This is because Sassa pays out in batches. As we enter the end of the year I do hope that Sassa makes the same courtesy of paying early for both November and December as people desperately need money during these times. As it is the beginning of the Christmas season, I also hope they consider making the grant permanent. What do you think of these lifestyle observations, tell me in the comments section and follow for more news as it happens.
