December 7 Must Be Ghana's Election, Not West African Election - Prez Akuffo Addo


Tomorrow, Tuesday, 30th June, 2020 marks the day the whole Ghana is embarking on voters registration exercise. The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission has earlier on briefed the media pertaining all what will be taking place and protocols that would be observed during the exercise.

In the late of hours, the president of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has to also talk to the good people of Ghana as far as the registration exercise is concerned.

According to the president, we should make sure persons who do not meet the requirements shouldn't register as according to the constitution of the Land. He again said, if anyone aid in registering someone who is not eligible or meet the requirements, such person will face the full rigors of the law.

The president further stated that, the December 7 elections must be a Ghanaian election, not West African election and by so doing, that is when the will of Ghanaians will be manifested.

The president finally admonished everyone to abide by the safety protocols and restrictions in connection with COVID 19 and stay calm so that the exercise will be a success.
