Social media users have been discussing the phrase "do or die" which Ex President John Dramani Mahama said on Akina Radio whilst embarking on his "Thank You" tour in Bono Region. This statement by the Ex President has generated a lot of comments from Ghanaians. A lot of people have condemned the statement "do or die" whiles others have praised John Dramani Mahama for uttering such a brave word. According to other people, the current president of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo said the same thing when he was embarking on his campaign train in 2012 and the statement of John Mahama is not different from his.

This has caused one Ghanaian mathematician to hilariously come up with an equation which he derived the phrase "do or die" from "all die be die" at the end of solving it.
