The race for August Presidential election is gearing up more interestingly as top candidates intensify their campaigns across the country. The Deputy President of Kenya, William Ruto took break from his usual campaigns as he is currently on a ten day official visit to United States of America and United Kingdom.
The scramble for Mt. Kenya votes has seen majority of Presidential candidates trying to have a running mate from the vote rich region to enticed the voters to overwhelmingly elect them. Both Raila Odinga and Deputy President, Ruto are believed to be willing to choose a running mate from Central Kenya.
National Assembly Speaker, Justin Muturi who is also eyeing the Presidency has revealed that he won't choose a running mate from Mt. Kenya. The calm politician who hails from the same region reinstated that he will unveil his running mate when the time is right.
While speaking to NTV Journalist, Salim Swaleh, Speaker Muturi affirmed that he's in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta. Although he's not popular like Raila Odinga and DP Ruto, Speaker Justin Muturi is confident he will win August Presidential election.
