Twelve communities are set to battle for the grand prize for this year’s MTN Ashantifest Community Soccer competition billed for 22-26 June, at the Bantama and Ahinsan Astroturf.
The 12 communities are Tech, Abrepo, Asokore Mampong, Fante New Town, Dichemso, and Kotei Deduako.
The rest are, Bantama, Asafo, Suame, Asokwa, Tafo and Aboabo.
The winner of the GHC20000 Grand Prix will receive a medal, MTN broadcast time, and a visit fee of 1000 Ghc, and the second-ranked community will receive 10,000 Ghanaian dams, a medal, MTN broadcast time, and a visit fee. Ghc1000.
The third-place team will receive 5,000 Ghanaian children, medals, MTN broadcast time, and 1000 Ghc attendance fee, and the fourth-place team will receive 2,000 Ghc, broadcast time, and 1,000 Ghc codes. This year’s contest aims to reward local customers for their loyalty and support over the years, as well as participation in several topics.
