Reno has taken to his social media account to address his followers who rely on their degrees alone with no skills to back them up.
Advising them that the reason for them not leading is due to lack of skill.
So, therefore, to all the graduate out there acquire a skill.
"The semiliterates of the future will be people who have degrees but have no skills. Degrees are fast losing their relevance. Almost everything you learn at university can be sourced from the Internet. Without practical skills, your degree won’t pay your critical bills. Some people don’t have degrees but they have ideas and degree holders work for them. 1 Chronicles 15:22 teaches us that skills (not degrees) make you a leader. Many people are not leading because they depend on their certificates rather than their skills. "
Reno is full of wisdom, some say.
My question to you is this: should we learn a skill first before bagging a degree? Or should we get a degree first before the skills?
Well, it's up to you guys to just learn something. So you don't waate away in case the other doesn't come through on time.
