Notwithstanding the Statement made by the finance minister Ken Offori Atta that "Ghana government payroll is full", Referral nurses who completed in 2019 demand clearance and postings from government.

They added that if their demand is not met they will go on the streets and demonstrate to show their displeasure over the failure of the government to give them clearance.

According to them, they have been unfairly treated after they were referred to rewrite some papers and then they completed their national service in 2020 but the ministry of Health and Finance gave clearance to the 2019 batch but they were excluded.

“The government and the Ministry of Health have treated us unfairly. We completed school in 2019, but the results came out, they said we had failed some courses, so we went back to re-write the papers. But we started national service in 2020 and completed the following year”.

They are therefore looking forward to the government to come to their aid or they will continue with their actions.
