Ahead of their Premier League clash against Brighton on Sunday at Old Trafford, Manchester United fans have been handed some huge news concerning star player who is now set to leave in the summer.
According to the Mirror, goalkeeper David De Gea is set to leave Old Trafford after more than 10 years of service to the red devils.
The Spaniard is still left with two years on his £350,000 a-week contract thus meaning anyone willing to buy him will have to pay sum huge amount.
"David de Gea is set to leave #mufc at the end of the season. He will still have two years left on his £350,000-a-week contract and United will have to pay up a large slice of that to let him go," read a report.
De Gea's position has come under threat following his loss of form a few years ago with many fans calling for Dean Henderson to take up the number 1 position.
Ever since the 2018 world cup in Russia, De Gea has really not been himself losing top positions amongst the best in the world.
Selling him at the moment when he is still playable will be a great idea for the club as far as business is concerned.
