Meet the youngest Ghanaian female commercial pilot.


Audrey Maame Esi Swatson is the youngest Ghanaian female pilot was born on February 23,1997 and has obtained a commercial license.

Maame Esi Swatson is from Saltpond in the Central Region of Ghana.

She had her basic education at the University of Ghana Basic School and her Senior High Education at the Ghana Christian international High School. Her first flight with Mach 1 Aviation Academy on 4th April, 2016 when she was 19 years.

She has flown a total of 210 hours for the duration of being in school till she obtained her commercial license.

“My flight training experience at Mach1 Aviation Academy has developed my ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performing organization. It reinforced the requirement to make sound decisions in a sometimes ambiguous environment, led by example and deliver results with little margin for error.

I had the privilege of flying with some truly inspirational, selfless flight instructors who embodied fortitude, grit, resilience, courage, integrity”, Audrey Esi Swatson revealed.
