Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has reportedly decided the fate of Odegaard, he said the Norwegian will be offered a role at Madrid in the next season killing the hope for the gunners in buying him parmanent. Odegard left Madrid for the English side at Arsenal for a six month loan, he has 2 goals and 2 assists in his 13 appearances for the gunners. This is a positive impression in the premier league which brought attention for Arsenal in whether they will keep him or not.
Odegaard admitted he feels very much at home with Arsenal since joining at the Emirates.
However Perez wants to bring Odegaard back to Madrid as he believes his presence can be a key factor in the race to sign Erling Haaland.
Perez is reportedly to have offered Arteta a chance to sign Takefusa Kubo as a replacement for Odegaard Takefusa Kubo is a Japan winger who joined Real Madrid from Yokohama in 2019 for a 5 year deal.
He has developed through loans at Mallarca, Villarreal and Getafe.
He has one goal and 4 assists this season and has been maturing in Laliga, his move to Arsenal will give them a chance to replace Odegaard. He can play as number 10 and on the frontline, currently at Getafe fc.
