1 Samuel 1:6-9"Because the Lord had closed hannah’s womb, her rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her. 7 This went on year after year. Whenever hannah went up to the house of the Lord, her rival provoked her till she wept and would not eat. 8 Her husband Elkanah would say to her, “hannah, why are you weeping? Why don’t you eat? Why are you downhearted? Don’t I mean more to you than ten sons?”"
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace... John 16:33
I believe one of the most important things we can do is be thankful for our lives and all that God gives us and does for us. Too often, we focus on what we don’t have or what we wish was different in our lives, and this focus causes us to go through life feeling dissatisfied and defeated.
But when we stop and take the time to focus on what we already have and all the ways God has already blessed us, it gives us a new perspective—our mind is renewed, our attitude is affected, and our joy overflows!
We can live by trying to take care of ourselves, or we can live by trusting God. Trusting God is the best and most peaceful way to live and, thankfully, it is an option available to us every day!🙏❤
