Wesley Girls' Senior High School (WGHS) is a girls' secondary school in Cape Coast, Ghana. Harriet Wrigley, the wife of a Methodist minister, founded Ghana's oldest secondary school in 1836. John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, is honored at the school. It is undoubtedly the second oldest senior high school in Ghana. In 2003, Africa Almanac ranked Wesley Girls' High School 68th out of the top 100 best high schools in Africa, based on educational quality, student engagement, alumnae strength and activities, school profile, internet and news visibility. 

186 year of its existence has seen millions of students passing through it. The school has produced notable personalities in most spheres of life; education, politics, arts, diplomats, etc.
