The transfer market is boiling with news of several possibilities. The most dominant news and biggest question is will Messi stay at the camp nou? Well for the time being, Messi is willing to. However, his wage demands means that Fc Barcelona will have to cut down drastically, their current wage bill due to La Liga's salary cap rule. This has led to several possibilities of big names leaving and we take a look at the two most likely ones.

Antoine Griezmann

The french born star joined the Catalan giants in 2019 after wonderful spells at Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid. However, his performance at Camp Nou is yet to receive the spark that has graced his career. With Barcelona willing to cut down wages at all cost in order to sign Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann has been linked with a move away from the team. Chelsea's new boss, Thomas Tuchel, is a huge Griezmann fan and after attempts to sign the striker he described as the finest in 2018 failed, he sees a greater opportunity to manage the forward this time around that he is available at a cheaper price. Chelsea is in the market for a striker this season with high intents of signing Dortmund's Norwegian striker Erling Braut Haaland. However, Dortmund is demanding a fee north of £100m which makes the move close to impossible. It is a known fact that Tuchel likes Griezmann and Barcelona is willing to let him join any elite club in Europe. Tuchel has his boost that he has always wanted. For the blues, here comes Erling Haaland's alternative.

Phillipe Coutinho. Three years ago, several teams lined up to pay huge sums for the Brazillian with Barca succeeding at a whooping £142m. No one believed his exit from Barca will be cheap but after three seasons in catalan, Barcelona is willing to let Coutinho go at £20m only, just to trim their wage for a messi deal to go through. Coutinho turned 29 this year and has a lot of years ahead of him to play active football. It is therefore not surprising that teams have started lining up for the Brazillian. Phillipe Coutinho has not spoken on his exit plans, however, sources closer to him reveals the Brazillian fancies a return to the premier league. His Destinations in the EPL are numerous and we will follow keenly to bring you the details.

Barcelona after releasing these players will still have to cut their wages further in order to register new signings; Sergio Kun Aguero and Memphis Depay. This means more players are likely to leave Barca and we are yet to find out from the Catalans. Masour Ousmanne Dembele linked with a move to Manchester United? Samuel Umtiti linked with a move to Arsenal ? Sergio Busquets to MLS? Miralem Pjanic linked with a move to Arsenal? All these could happen through bargain though wage may be a problem for destination clubs as well. We only wait to see. Only time will tell.
