BANDITS INSIST BUHARI MUST LEAD DIALOGUE

According to the Guardian Nigeria, a group of bandits have blamed it's activities of kidnapping, killing, arson etc on the inability of President Muhammad Buhari to solve the problems of their community.

The group of bandits being interviewed claimed that they supported buhari but after coming into power, he abandoned them. As such if they are going to drop their weapons for peace, the president must personally come for the negotiation.


GUNMEN ABDUCTS OVER 300 SCHOOLGIRLS IN ZAMFARA SCHOOL

According to Punch, some gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted over 300 students at Government Girls Secondary School in Zamfara.

It was gathered that the bandits arrived in the school at 1pm disguised themselves dressed as security personnels with Hilux Vehicles and motorcycles and abducted the girls.


POLICE ARREST 48 BANDITS

47 men and 1 woman have been confirmed arrested by the Nigeria Police. This was confirmed by the Public Relations Officer, CP Frank MBA, where he disclosed that sophisticated weapons, ammunitions, phones and other accessories were recovered from the suspects. It was gathered that these suspected bandits have been arrested since it launched Operation Puff Adder II in the country.


FINANCE MINISTER SPEAKS

Despite reports of Nigeria being in serious debt, the minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed has hinted that the taking loans is necessary for Nigeria's progress. As the Federal Government will not make progress unless it borrows more to fund critical infrastructure in the country.

She went ahead to say that despite the huge amount of debt Nigeria is in, Nigeria is still within the borrowing limit, and will need to borrow more for the progress of Nigeria.
