Over the last five seasons, we have seen Kaizer Chiefs Football Club linked with almost more than ten players every transfer window, and this transfer window is no different as they linked with a handful number of players. The likes of former Supersport United Football Club Tebogo Mokoena who recently joined their arch-rivals Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club, Royal Andile Mpisane Football Club top marksman Victor Letsoalo, and Supersport United middlefield maestro Sipho Mbule are some of the players that have been strongly linked with the Naturena based club this transfer window.
While Letsoalo will not join Chiefs after his club makes it clear that the player is not for sale and Mokoena chose Sundowns over Chiefs, the Phefeni Glamour Boys will be hopeful that they seal the services of Mbule who has six months left on his contract with Matsatsantsa and they will be looking to cash in.
The 24-year-old South African senior male international has been quoted numerous times showing his desire to join Amakhosi, but his current club Supersport holds the trump card as they can still excise their option to extend his contract by a further year.
Mbule is currently in Durban representing Dinaledi Football Club in the Dstv Compact Cup where they lost their semi-final clash last weekend against Coastal Football Club, and they will be playing the 3rd/4th play-off against Amabutho Football Club who lost 2 - 1 against Warriors Football Club last weekend.
Mbule took on Orlando Pirates Football Club player Monnapuleng Saleng who is currently on loan at Swallows Football Club in a game of pool, and the Chiefs target had the number of the Pirates star who is representing Warriors.
I think Mbule will join Chiefs this transfer window, as Supersport would not want to lose him for free at the end of the season.
This might see Chiefs middlefielder Kearyn Baccus join Supersport United is interested in the player.
