4 EPL Fixtures That Are Unpredictable. (Number 2 could see a Two-Year-Old Record broken)

After returning from international duties, some clubs are energized and do actually perform better than they used to before the break. However, some high flying teams before the break do take a dismal dig in form. What I'm saying in essence is that the first week after an international break is unpredictable and full of uncertainties.

However, we'll be taking a look at some of the week 9 fixtures that are hopeful of a positive and negative outcome. Here are four fixtures that are certainly full of uncertainties and why the outcome cannot be predicted.

Jose Mourinho's men are in their best form this season and have only conceded 9 times while boasting of the second best goal scoring ratio. Scoring 19 times and only second to Chelsea. They've won 5 matches this season while losing just once and drawing twice.

After signing a new deal this week that'll keep him at the Etihad stadium until 2023, Pep Guardiola will be eager to get off till a good start by trying to win this game. But should they still be in the same form they were before the international break, I don't see them standing a chance. Having conceded 9 times and finding the back of the net on ten occasions, this fixture is definitely full of uncertainties.

Liverpool are facing the most difficult difficult challenge every team prays never to experience. With 4 of their five defenders absent due to injury and their top goal scorer in self isolation having tested positive to COVID-19, this fixture is indeed a complicated one for Jürgen Klopp's men.

Fabinho, Henderson, Virgil Van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Thiago Alcantara, Alexander Arnold, Joe Gomez are all doubtful of playing this game including Mo Salah who is self quarantined. Oxlade-chamberlain is also uncertain. This is going to be a difficult game for the Reds who will be fighting not only to go top of the league table, but to also keep their record of over two years unbeaten home record intact. This is going to be really difficult playing against a Leicester City side that are currently top of the table with no serious injury concerns. But this is Anfield and anything can happen as Liverpool can still spring a surprise.

Mikel Arteta's men will be visiting Leeds United on a Sunday evening fixture. The Gunners are currently 11th on the EPL Table winning four and losing four of their previously 8 fixtures before the break.

Leeds on the other hand are 15th. Winning just 3, losing 4 and drawing once. But this Leeds side are capable of magic and can pull a surprise on Arsenal given the fact that they are the Host.

Carlo Ancelloti's men started the season on a positive note before a dig in form hit them. However before the international break, they are beginning to get their rhythms back and their grooves are back on. They face a Fulham side that has been nothing but unimpressive so far this season. Will Everton be able to come out victorious? Guess we have to wait and see.
