The appointment of the Director of Public Affairs at Ghana's Electoral Commission as ambassador has generated some reactions from a section of Ghanaians.
Madam Sylvia Annoh, who has been at the Electoral Commission since the days of Dr. Afari Gyan as Chairman of the Commission has now been appointed as Ghana's Ambassador to Denmark.
She was at the Electoral Commission, but was sent to NCCCE under Madam Charlotte Osei as the EC Chairperson.
She was however brought back to the EC again when the current EC Chairperson, Mrs. Jean Mensah took over.
Her appointment as Ghana's Ambassador to Denmark has generated some reactions because, some people think that, she is a member of the NPP.
But others are of the view that, there is nothing wrong with her appointment as Ghana's Ambassador since she is a Ghanaian and she is qualified for the position.
This controversy surrounding her appointment is so because, the NDC has always accused some workers of the Electoral Commission of being members of the NPP.
But this allegations has always been denied.
