La Liga giant's FC Barcelona has been on the transfer headline for long, as they have been linked with various players for past month, in order to strengthen Barcelona's squad ahead of 2020/21 season.
However, the Catalans have been handed a boost to complete the signing of one of their transfer target.
According to a report, it claims, 29 years old Spanish man and Bayern Munich Centre-Midfielder, whose contract doesn't expire until 2021, has refused to pen down a fresh signature, that will extend his stay at Allianz Arena.
That stance serves as good news to Barcelona, who are interested in getting the Spaniard's signature.
However, La Liga giant's Barcelona will have to compete with the champion of Europe's Liverpool FC, who are also keeping tabs on the Spaniard midfielder, Thiago Alcantara. Thiago is believed to be valued £45 million.
Thiago Alcantara has featured in 150 league matches this season, as he has enrolled 17 goals for Bundesliga giant's Bayern Munich.
