Durban: Four individuals have been killed in an accident on the N2 thruway close to Pongola on Monday morning.
As indicated by Robert McKenzie of KZN Emergency Medical Services, there was an accident including a truck and three light engine vehicles.
"Unfortunately four individuals have supported lethal wounds. Paramedics have treated six patients at the scene," McKenzie said, adding that police were all the while exploring the reason for the accident.
KZN police representative Colonel Thembeka Mbele said: "We can affirm a mishap that occurred earlier today where four individuals kicked the bucket after three vehicles were associated with an impact. The police are as yet occupied at the scene."
Seven days prior, 29-year-old Karshia Ajudhiya, a senior monitor for quality control at the Majuba power station, was killed in a mishap on the N11 close to Newcastle.
