Among the news making headlines is the Kiambaa parliamentary by-elections set to be conducted on Thursday next week.

The political analysts have narrowed down the fight to be between DP Ruto and President Uhuru. While the DP will want to show his boss that he is in charge of Mount Kenya by having UDA candidate winning, President Uhuru plans to inform his Deputy that he is the lion of Mount Kenya, by having Jubilee winning the seat.

And now details of what President Uhuru Kenyatta has told the Jubilee campaigners in Kiambaa and Muguga to do just before the Thursday elections.

It is reported that Uhuru asked Jubilee leaders to pitch tents in the constituency and Muguga so that they can vigorously campaign for Jubilee's candidate Kariri Njama and Mung'ara.

The plans by Uhuru is meant to wade away the possibilities of DP Ruto's UDA garnering more support as they continue to campaign for their candidates.

Among those who are Kariri's campaigners include MPs Joshua Kuttuny, Wambugu Ngunjiri, Amos Kimunya, Peter Mwathi among others.
