Oba Adetoyese Olakisan, a traditionalist from Imesi-Ile in Osun State, has outlined three requirements for Senator Ademola Adeleke to be successful as governor of Osun.

The incumbent governor, Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, was defeated in the governorship election on July 16 by the Peoples Democratic Party's Adeleke.

In an exclusive interview with our correspondent, Olasakin stated that Adeleke must first acknowledge the size of the task at hand before hiring only individuals with a track record of honesty and ability who can assist him.

He pleaded with Adeleke to always make sure he remained on the path of truth, even if people around him told him to do otherwise. He also advised Adeleke to be wary of people who might be giving him bad advice.

Additionally, he gave the governor-elect advice to never lose sight of his roots, to always show respect to those who earned it, and to focus only on matters that would benefit the broader public.

He emphasized the need for Adeleke to prepare spiritually for the position at hand and said that if he prayed to God, he would have a fruitful tenure.
