Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny has once again found himself on the receiving end after a picture of a police station he allegedly aided in the building using Constituency Development Funds (CDF) in Cherangany emerged.
In photos circulating online, Kutuny has been accused of misusing the funds and building unsustainable police post, which is too small to be occupied by any security officer
From the pictures shared, the building has been labeled Munyaka Police post and written "funded by NG-CDF Cherangany constituency.
While others have claimed that the controversial building cost as much as over 5 million shillings in construction, others have come out to furiously attack the MP for taking the locals and the constituency for a ride.
This publication, can, however, not authoritatively reveal that the alleged police station is in Kutuny's constituency and whether the MP took part in officiating its construction.
This comes at a time is facing a tough time in defending his seat after falling out with the region's kingpin William Ruto, who has since shifted camps to UDA party
MPs allied to DP Ruto have been accusing Kutuny of betraying William Ruto, and urging locals to show him the door come 2022 general polls.
Among those aspiring to unseat Kutuny includes former MP Wesley Korir, who will be vying on a UDA ticket.
