If you've been in a relationship for a long, you've probably observed that sometimes you're in the mood for intimacy, but your spouse isn't. If you've never had this happen to you, you may have to deal with it at some point in the future. As a result, knowing what to do in a circumstance like this is critical. When you're in the mood for sex, but your partner isn't, here are some things to do.

1. Try to establish a different line of communication. There are plenty of exciting and romantic things you two may do together even if your spouse doesn't want to be intimate just yet. It's possible that your spouse will get in the mood for lovemaking while you're interacting in other ways. Nevertheless, you need not worry if he or she does not, as there are many other ways to keep a relationship strong other from lovemaking.

2. Allow some time to pass. After a few minutes or even hours, if you allow them enough time, they may get the want to make love with you as well. There's no guarantee that they won't change their minds if you give them enough time. Be patient and wait for your partner to get into the mood, no matter how long it takes.

3. Set the mood for them. When your lover isn't feeling romantic, there are plenty of romantic things you may do to make them feel the love. Eventually, they'll be open to being kissed or otherwise touched passionately. As a last resort, you can get them into the mood by uttering love phrases to them.
