A 20-year-old first-year understudy at the Asesewa Senior High School in the Eastern district has purportedly died in a motorbike mishap while getting back from a club, reports say.

The reports added that the deceased, Florence Batsa, was going home on a motorbike with her female companion and the engine rider from the Memorial Club in Somanya at around 2:00 am, the point at which the accident occurred.

The engine was engaged in a head-on impact with an approaching vehicle which unexpectedly wandered off into their path, Patrick Tetteh Lawer, who was the engine rider, told the press.
