With an aim of ensuring total compliance with the laid down Covid 19 movement restrictions in the five counties that have been locked down, the Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai says that the police are well prepared to ensure that people don't move in or out of the said counties during easter holidays beginning tomorrow.  (Photo courtesy: Inspector General of police Hillary Mutyambai.)

He substantiated his words by affirming that about 33 roadblocks had been set up by police in all the major roads heading into and out of the five counties. Additionally, about 3000 prison warders has been deployed to man other different entry and exit points.

As such, all points will be manned day and night as police seek to enforce directives as ordered by the president. He urges Kenyans to stay put during easter holidays.

The zoned counties include Nairobi, Nakuru, Kajiado, Kiambu and Machakos; whose entry and exit is as per now prohibited.
