"You will go to nominations alone, You will regret what you passed into law" Sakaja warns senators

The political Ammendment bill is finally in the floor of the senate where a heated debate was exchanged between the law makers. The Bill had left the house of parliament divided into two factions which later led to a nasty fight. Some of the senators wanted amendments introduced into the bill while others wanted it passed with no amendments at all.

The political amendment bill was brought by Members of parliament allied to Azimio la Umoja who voted the bill in with zero amendments. The senate was convened for three special sittings to debate about the bill and have unanimously passed the bill with no amendments.

The outspoken senator of Nairobi Johnson Sakaja warned his fellow senators after failing to amend some acts. He was keen to note that giving alot of power to the registrar of political parties was not the best decision. He highlighted that such an act would be hectic as aspirants follow their nominations all the way from Nairobi.
