Comrade Kwesi Pratt Jr., the Ghanaian journalist and managing editor at the Insight newspaper has said, that the leaders in Ghana must begin to think...and that one of the major problems of this country is that, "our leaders stop thinking long time ago".
According to Mr. Pratt Jnr., Ghana going back to the International Monitory Fund (IMF) for support, as being suggested by some politicians, is useless...and that; what did the International Monitory Fund (IMF), do to help revise the Ghanaian economy when we were there previous?
"And now our politician; unfortunately from both sides of our political devise says, we must go back (to IMF), go back for what? haven't we been there before...did IMF solved our problems...and if it didn't solved our problems, why are going back there. Our leaders must begin to think...they are not thinking".
Speaking on Pan African TV's morning program 'Good morning African, Comrade Pratt stated that, he is deeply worried and shocked, about the current state of the Ghanaian's economy; and that, the situation in Ghana today is far worst than than the situations in the 1970s...and that the economy has collapsed and been in shamble for a very long time.
According to Mr. Pratt, our economy is so bad and gone beyond the state where it can be revise; stressed that, currently, nobody have hope in our economy, and that the true state of Ghana's economy is so bad that, we cant even construct gutters; we cant buy chairs or even glass of water.
