Orlando Pirates wants to revamp their squad in a way that they're able to get the best results moving forward. It's clear that Pirates wants to challenge for the DStv Premiership title next season, but that can only be possible with the right amount of players. This could be debatable since the Pirates fans feel that they've got good players, but they don't a a coach to lead them to the promise land. According to reports, the Buccaneers are believed to be working on signing nine players which will bring their talented and experienced to the team. This comes after noticing that there's certain players within the club that haven't lived up to the high expectations at Mayfair.

It's clear that interim co-coaches Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids wants a certain number of players. Which they feel will help them clinch silverware in the upcoming campaign. The list includes the AmaZulu FC duo goalkeeper Veli Mothwa and the central defender Thapelo Xoki, Royal AM attacker Victor Letsoalo, Golden Arrows duo central defender Nkosinathi Sibisi and attacking midfielder Pule Mmodi, AmaTuks central defender Keegan Allan, the Chippa United trio striker Eva Nga, winger Maloisane Mokhele, and attacker Azola Matrose. What's impressive with this list is that the oldest player is Mothwa who's 31-years-old and the youngest is the 17-years-old Matrose. This is impressive for the Buccaneers as they're thinking about longevity.

This means that the Soweto giants will release numerous players over the age of 30. Looking at the club's defense, they're trying to find the right players that could sort out their defense challenges. Also, the Soweto giants haven't been deadly in front of goals, hence they're looking for a striker.
