President Muhammadu Buhari has just done another wonderful job as he gave the approval to name the Railway Complex in Agbor, which is the operational hub of the Itakpe Warri rail line after former president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
The news was first broken on twitter by the special assistant to the President on Digital and new media, Tolu Oginlesi who quoted the statement made by the minister of transport, Rotimi Amaechi.
According to Tolu Ogunlesi, the Itakpe Warri rail line was commenced by former military head of state, General Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida in 1987, and completed by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2020.
After 33 years of waiting, the completion of the project is a huge achievement, and one that would go a long way in silencing the critics of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Railway Station is currently undergoing test running ahead of its commissioning for commercial operations by the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Here are some of the photos from the newly named railways station.
A lot of reactions followed as some expressed joy over the project, while others complained as usual.
