The ministry of Health led by Mutahi Kagwe has hinted on giving an announcement tomorrow concerning the Covid-19 situation in Kenya and India and some travel restrictions between this two countries.
The announcement will touch on the travelling regulations from Kenya to India and from India to Kenya due to the current Covid-19 situation In India.
Mutahi Kagwe has warned Kenyans who intend to seek medical attention from India to make informed decisions as hospital beds in india are full and there is no capacity to accomodate new patients.
Mutahi Kagwe while speaking to Citizen news on monday night said they may impose some restriction to flights from Kenya to and from India and later on remove the restriction when India flatten their Covid-19 infection curve. The communication is said to take place tommorrow.
This will help prevent importing the virus from India to Kenya as it may render the efforts made by Uhuru Kenyatta and the ministry of health futile.
This may also help so much as it will save Kenyans the money they would have going to India for treatment and at the end of the day, fail to get the treatment they went for due to full capacity of hospitals in India.
You are therefore advised to seek medical care elsewhere apart from going to India because you may not receive the necessary medication that you required due to the rising curve of Covid-19 infection in India.
Doctors in India are currently working around the clock on the Covid-19 patients as many deaths are continously being reported each day.
Today only, about 300,000 new cases were reported and about 1,300 deaths were also reported.
