The Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency Samira Bawumia has recently been receiving critics from some Ghanaians concerning her makeup and fashionable lifestyle. A certain woman recently blasted her and asked whether she is Miss World or Miss Africa. Some people said that she deserves this criticism because it is the State allowances for Presidential Spouses that she is using for her makeup.
These criticisms have mostly come from the opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC). But in your picture below is the General Secretary of the NDC, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, popularly known as General Mosquito busily receiving makeup before a program. The truth of the matter is most Television Stations in the country dress up their guest by a Make-Up Artist before they appear on the screen.
They might not tell you but this is a fact. What the Make-Up Artist is holding in the hand is what ladies with dark skin mostly use to get a beautiful facial look. It does not have one colour for someone to say that Mr Asiedu Nketia was just receiving a 'light' dress up and not the makeup.
In view of this, if Ghanaians especially the NDC are accusing the Second Lady of using State resources for makeup, they should know that some men like Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia do makeup before appearing on certain programs.
