As you age your eyes experience some changes. The problem become more common as you get older. This occurs slowly over your lifetime. You may not notice the changes until you reach 40. Eating certain foods enhance your eyesight even at old age. Limiting use of other meals in your diet can improve your immune system and reduces the risk of eye vision related disorder.
Early warning signs for eye problems.
1. Frequent changes in visual clarity.
2. Seeing distorted images or writings.
3. Seeing floaters or flashes in the field of vision.
4. Reduced peripheral vision.
1. Nuts and Legumes.
High level of Omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin E in nuts and Legumes enhance your eye health and protect the eye's cells from free radicals that could break down eye tissues. These include Walnuts, Brazil nuts, Cashew nuts, Peanuts,Lentils, Groundnuts.
Eating carrots and drinking the juice is good for the eye. The lutein and zeaxanthin from carrots builds up in your eyes and protects them from damaging light. They have vitamin A containing a protein called Rhadopsin,bthat helps your retina to absorb light.

These are rich in vitamin C. This vitamin is an antioxidant that helps fight age-related eye damage. They include; Lemons, Oranges, Grape Fruits.
7. Leafy greens vegetables.
Eat enough of greens.
Rich in zinc which has better long term eye health. It helps delay age related sight loss and mascular degeneration.
Plenty's of water can prevent dehydration, which may reduce the symptoms of dry eyes.

c. 10 mg of lutein and 2mg of zeaxanthin.
d. 80 mg of zinc oxide.
e. 2 mg of copper oxide.
However much people often belief that failing eyesight is inevitable with ageing or eyestrain, it can be managed by keeping proper diet patterns.
