"This Is A Big Victory For Us"- Ghanaians To First Lady

Ghanaians are celebrating the first lady of the republic, Rebecca Akufo-Addo for disclosing that she is returning all monies paid to her since 2017 through her communication director which has brought another debate amongst Ghanaians.

Ghanaians are praising themselves for criticizing Government and making the NPP Government know that they are citizens but not spectators as president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo told them to do when he became President in 2017. Majority of Ghanaians are praising First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo for taking that bold decision and stating that this are the kind people they want to lead them in the country. They opined that they will fight second lady, Samira Bawumia to return monies paid to her and other former first and second ladies in the country.

Some people stated that their love for first lady has grownups as she made her mind to return the money but some people however stated that they know Politicians and they won't let first lady rest until she paid the money to the state.

Some people with much joy stated that: This is a big victory for my fellow citizens of Ghana. Thanks to all who added their voices to stoped this family and friends movement duping Ghanaians. Am very much happy that we have come together to fight this battle irrespective of party colours. To the extent that even abronye sued her to demand Ghana money back. But hey there’s one more to fight that is bawumia wife’s own; let continue to fight to end. Thanks to all citizens but not spectators.

"Great move mum, my love for you has just been boosted. You have dignified your office by this single act. Now let all those whose destinies are tied to these monies, go for it because you will never starve. My respect for you mum. I love you" someone praises first lady.

Another Ghanaian praises her by saying that that: I think the first lady has shown leadership that's what I expected from her.

Someone announced that: These are the kind of people we need in Ghana. Infact as a mere teacher, I also pledge to support the country with 3months Salary. Starting from August 2021. God bless our Homeland Ghana.

"Mammy you have spoken and touch my heart for having such good heart and thinking of current situation not like MP's aggressive to take loan for car. Are they only service to motherland Ghana? May God continue bless you Mamma" Another Ghanaian said when peace FM online disclosed the news to them.
