France international and former Olympique Lyonnaise football club of France star, Karim Benzema was in action on Sunday night for Real Madrid in their 4th league game of the Spanish La Liga Santander against Celta Vigo at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
The prolific forward retained his spot in his team's starting XI following his incredible performance for the club in their previous game having established himself as a key figure in the squad paraded by the Italian manager, Carlo Ancelloti.
Karim Benzema played the whole 90 minutes duration of the game and he was at top notch in their first match at the new Santiago Bernabeu as they were able to seal the whole three points of the game.
The visitor scored in the 4th minutes of the game with a goal from Santi Mina to make it one nil before Benzema got an equaliser in the 24th minutes to make it 1-1.
Franco Cervi put the visitor ahead in the 31st minutes to make it two goals to one going into the half time break after putting up some fine displays.
The second half of the game was more thrilling as Karim Benzema got his brace of the night with an equaliser in the 46th minutes to make it 2-2, before setting up an assist for Vinicius Junior who put his side ahead in the 54th minutes to make it three goals to two.
Real Madrid summer signing, Eduardo Camavinga made it four for the Los Blancos with his debut goal of the night before Karim Benzema got his hat-trick via penalty kick, as he put the ball away from the spot in the 87th minutes to make it five goals to two.
After several attempts from both sides to add more to the tally of the night, all proved futile as it ended five goals to two at full time.
The win for Real Madrid has now taken them to the top spot of the table with 10 points in 4 games played and as such be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture, so as to continue their pursuit in the competition.
