Liverpool have confirmed Harvey Elliott has signed a new long-term contract with the footclub.
The 18-year-old has signed a five-year contract after impressing on a loan idea with Blackburn Rovers past season where Eliot scored almost seven goals and gained 11 assists.
Elliott will team up with the Liverpool first-team players for their pre-season visit of Austria where he is expected to impress Jurgen Klopp and gain minutes as the Premier League season commence.
After he penned down his new deal, Elliott noted: "It’s often going to be there allover the years I’m here. Truly it’s going to be a long term.
“There’s often be butterflies whenever you wear the shirt, whenever you move out to train and play, whenever you get yourself involved in the club there’s often that feeling.
"Mostly for me, being a Liverpool man, plus my family members, it’s good to make them feel proud and make myself famous. If the hard work continues.
