The number of people who have lost their lives through accidents has been on the rise in recent months with several incidents reported across the country. According to a report by the Ministry Of Transport in conjunction with the NTSA, over 400 people have lost their lives through accidents since the turn of the year.
Just this week alone, more than 20 people have lost their lives through accidents. The number could even rise higher after another tragic road accident was reported along Thika Super Highway at Ngara.
According to initial reports, the Accident involved several with three people already Feared Dead. The incident will no doubt raise further questions on the government's role in all this mess. Many drivers have blamed the COVID-19 imposed Curfew as a leading cause of the accidents.
According to many, the night curfew has forced most drivers to operate during the day thus leading to big congestion resulting in accidents in major towns.
