Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has given aspiring Teso South MP sleepless nights after the county head declared his interest to vie for the MP seat.
Governor Sospeter Ojaamong, who is serving his serving last and final term, has left people with myriad of questions after he decided to lower his position back to the County Assembly. Ojaamong first served as the Member of Parliament of Amagoro Constituency before contesting as Busia Governor in 2013.
Former Teso South MP Mary Emase who is also interested in the same seat has criticized Ojaamong for lowering his position endorsing him for other top seat. Aspiring MP Mary Emase is fearing defeat from her Governor who have many supports in the country
As the country is waiting for the August election, politicians are drafting their next move. Governors who are serving their final term have decided to either contest for other seats or support other candidates.
