3 matches earmarked for live TV broadcast in the GPL in midweek

The Ghana Football Association, GFA in association with television rights holders for the GPL has announced the live TV schedule in the ongoing competition in midweek.

With six matches to end the campaign, life at both ends of the table is becoming interesting as clubs bid to end the season on a high.

On Wednesday afternoon, reigning champions Accra Hearts of Oak who are fourth on the log, will host Bibiani Gold Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium in a game they will look to win to keep pressure on those above them on the table.

This fixture has been penciled in for live telecast on the StarTimes Adepa TV channel with the game scheduled to kick-off at 3:00pm local time.

Also on Wednesday afternoon, another Matchday 29 fixture will come off at the Red Bull Arena, Sogakope where relegation strugglers WAFA will host Accra Lions in a game they will look to win to ease some of their worries.

This fixture will be shown live on the Gold Rush channel on the StarTimes network starting at 3:00pm local time.

GPL leaders Asante Kotoko will continue with their chase for the title when they trek to Obuasi to take on troubled AshantiGold SC at the Len Clay Stadium.

This Ashanti regional derby will be played on Thursday afternoon with kick-off time set for 3:00pm local time in the mining township.

The game will be broadcast live on television on the StarTimes Adepa TV channel worldwide to close the Matchday 29 action in the ongoing top-flight championship in Ghana.
