Two people who were involved in the demolition of Nigerian Embassy Staff Quarters in Accra, Ghana have been arrested.
The Criminal Investigation Department(CID) have arrested two people involved in the demolition of a building on the premises of the Nigerian High Commission in Accra, Ghana. The arrested was made on Monday.
In a statement signed by the head of Public Affairs, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Juliana Obeng reads: "The Criminal Investigation Department in the course of investigation on Monday 22nd June, 2020, arrested two persons involving in the demolition of a building on the premises of the Nigerian High Commission in Accra. The suspects involved in the act have been charged with the offences of conspiracy to commit crime to wit; unlawful entry and causing unlawful damages contrary ti sections 23(1), 152 and 172 respectively of the criminal and other offences Act 1960(Act 29) and will be arraigned before the court".
