Valerenga have drawn four of their last six Eliteserien starts, and they could be set for another stalemate this Sunday against a Haugesund side who are unbeaten at home this season.
Enga are enjoying a solid campaign thus far and they go into Round 13 third in the table after a run of six matches without defeat. Dag-Eilev Fagermo’s side have lost just one of their six outings on the road (W3, D2), so it’s easy to see why the bookmakers have them as favourites here at a touch of odds-against.
Nonetheless, their glut of recent draws means they’re no more than fairly priced and Haugesund are difficult to oppose based on their superb home record this term.
Jostein Grindhaug’s charges have been hopeless on their travels (D2, L3) and were battered 3-0 by Mondjalen last week, but they’ve won four and drawn one of their five matches at Haugesund Stadion, keeping four clean sheets in the process.
With the hosts respected, a draw looks the best wager for small stakes this Sunday and a 0-0 correct score could be worth chancing based on the number of shut-outs maintained by Haugesund on their own turf.
