Lawyer Cliff Ombeta has requested coastal governors who visited president Uhuru Kenyata at state house to exit the stage.
Through his twitter page, Ombeta shared photos of Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho, Kilifi governor Amason Kingi ,Kwale governor Salim mvurya together with president Uhuru Kenyatta taken at state house.
"These leaders have finished their two terms ,they should now exit the stage" stated Ombeta
Joho political move has uncertainties that no one can tell what he is capable of doing ahead of the 2022 polls.
Through his twitter page, Joho endorsed the son of the late Garissa senator Yussuf Haji in the upcoming by-election.
His popularity in the coast region has reduced despite him attempting to vie for a presidential seat on an Orange Democratic Movement ticket.
It is not clear whether the governor will withdraw his bid to the country's top most position.
Mohammed Ali, who is the member of parliament for Nyali constituency and a staunch supporter of William Ruto is said to be gaining ground ahead of the 2022 polls.
We cannot predict the possible 2022 coalition as Kenya's political formations are dynamic.
